| Wee-Ball & Tee-Ball Divisions: League Ages 4-6. The Wee-Ball & Tee-Ball divisions promote non-competitive, instructional baseball and should be viewed as such by managers, coaches, parents, and fans. The emphasis is on having fun and developing basic skills for all players. Weekly games include three innings of “baseball” in which all players have a turn to bat and run the bases. Neither score nor standings are recorded, and there are no playoffs. Lower Tee-Ball players will hit off a stationary tee for the entire season, while Upper Tee-Ball players will hit off a stationary tee for the first half of the season and face live pitching from coaches during the second half. |
| Farm Division: League Ages 6-8*. The Farm division promotes non-competitive, instructional baseball and should be viewed as such by managers, coaches, parents, and fans. The emphasis is on having fun and continuing skill development for all players. Neither score nor standings are recorded, and there are no playoffs. Batters will face soft toss pitching from coaches during the entire season. |
| Minor C: League Ages 7-9*. While the Minor C division is primarily instructional baseball and continuing skill development for all players, “friendly” competition is encouraged in the context of teaching the game. This level is also a transitional division of sorts in that batters will face live pitching from fellow players assisted by coach pitch in the event of a walk. |
| Minor B: League Ages 8-10*. The playing rules for the Minor B division conform to the annual “Official Regulation and Playing Rules” for Little League Baseball with some modifications or additions as documented in the OVLL Local Rules. The top two teams will move on to the District 62 Tournament of Champions. |
| Minor A: League Ages 9-11*. The playing rules for the Minor A division conform to the annual “Official Regulation and Playing Rules” for Little League Baseball with some modifications or additions as documented in the OVLL Local Rules. The top two teams will move on to the District 62 Tournament of Champions. All-Star teams will also be selected to participate in the All-Stars Tournament. |
